Protestant Theology UR 4378

Scientific project

The Protestant Theology research center is affiliated with the University of Strasbourg’s Faculty of Protestant Theology.

It focuses on three research areas that reflect the variety of disciplinary approaches that coexist in the field of protestant theology. In each of these areas, and in each team, specific projects are pursued, with a constant concern for dialogue and interdisciplinarity, as shown by recent publications.

Since 2009, a joint seminar has rallied scholars working on all three areas around a common project. The current seminar series (2018-2022) is dedicated to the discussion of Faith and fears. The proceedings of two seminars have been published by the University Presses of Strasbourg (Uses and Misuses of Scripture ; Knowledge and Experience of God).
